Remember what your mother would say about wiping off your muddy shoes? Well, a couple of accused crooks didn't.
Pennsylvania state troopers report muddy footprints were the big tip-off in busting a couple of suspected thieves. Officers found muddy tracks at the scene of break-ins at a pet supply store and a veterinary clinic in Newville.
When troopers pulled over 18-year-old Daniel Jumbelick and 21-year-old Jonathan Stimeling, they noticed both had muddy pants and shoes.
Investigators say the pair admitted to a total of 10 break-ins.
