How stupid. did these guys even think that when they come back in to earths athmosphere that they are going to be burned to death. I garentee that little elevator will not withstand the Heat that our athmosphere puts off!! i agree with anonymous

The space platform better weight a heck of a lot and be in what we might call a fast orbit. Miles of cable will weigh thousands of tons and break or pull the platform down into the atmosphere. I see nothing good from something this stupid. What are they, Hollow Earthers?
