It's not just DWI -- call it a
case of MWI. An eastern Missouri man is accused of drunken driving
-- on a riding mower.

Police in the town of Iron Mountain Lake say
an officer spotted the suspect driving down the street on his
mower, pulling a trailer with a case of beer. Police say the man
also had a flask of whiskey in his pocket.

Police aren't releasing the suspect's name. They report his blood alcohol level was well above the legal limit. He now faces a number of charges, including driving while intoxicated.

Well I wonder what Dawson Grimsley has to say about this seems like he is super safety man for Wichita. And if you can get a D.U.I. on a bike seems to me a lawn mower should fall under the same stupid category then they wonder why people drive cars drunk.

This is stupid. If you arrest them for walking or taking an alternative method of transportation when drunk, why should we think they wouldn't get behind the wheel of a car!? At least he was responsible enough to take a lawn mower rather than a pickup.

Let me guess, even though he does not live in KS, he will still spend more time behind bars than hammitt ever has in his entire life. hammitt will probably get another slap on the wrist, while this guy will be forced to mow the entire state of MO.
