T-Mobile is adding jobs at their customer care center in Wichita.
On Monday, the company announced plans to hire as many as 84 full-time customer service representatives over the next two months.
The director of the Wichita calling center says that recent changes at T-Mobile, like the introduction of the I-Phone, have prompted the additional employees.
"It is an exciting time for T-Mobile," said director Mohammad Zafar Akbar. "Our customers demands are higher, the call volume's high, so we are really excited about the hiring event."
To find eligible applicants, T-Mobile held a hiring event on Tuesday, May 7th.
While that event is over, T-Mobile is still continuing the search for employees.
