UPDATE: Thursday, October 18, 2012

A glitch that was resulting in holds to be placed on some INTRUST Bank customers' accounts has been resolved, the bank announced Thursday.

The problem began earlier this week as some customers began seeing improper holds placed on their accounts. INTRUST Bank said the issue was a computer glitch caused when the bank's data processor underwent a conversion over the weekend.

Thursday, a bank spokeswoman said the issue had been corrected and that the bank has refunded fees that may have been charged as a result of the issue.

Any INTRUST Bank customers who have questions are asked to call (316) 383-1234 or (800) 895-2265.

Some INTRUST Bank customers are without access to their funds due to a computer glitch.

A spokeswoman for the bank says the glitch is putting holds on some accounts.

“A weekend conversion by our data processor resulted in improper holds being placed on some accounts,” says Diane Iseman, INTRUST Communications and Public Relations Manager. “We are working diligently with the processor and have been advised that the issue will be resolved tonight. However, we recognize that some customers may find themselves affected.”

If you’ve been affected, call Intrust Bank at (316) 383-1234. Customer service availability has been extended until 10 p.m. this evening.
