Two of the six $10,000 Powerball winners in Kansas have come forward to collect their prize.

Connie and Randy Leal of Burlington won playing Powerball for the first time.

The Leals drove to Topeka yesterday to have lunch, and stopped to buy a ticket at an area Kwik Shop.

The other winning ticket claimed was also purchased at a Topeka convenience store. That winner chose to remain anonymous.

Check your Powerball tickets, Kansans. Six tickets sold in the state are each worth $10,000, matching four of the first five numbers plus the Powerball.

The winning numbers were 5-6-22-23-29, Powerball 6. The big prize winners bought tickets in Kansas City, Missouri and Arizona, but several smaller winnings have yet to be claimed.

According to the Kansas Lottery, four of the $10,000 winning tickets were sold in northeast Kansas and two were sold in south central Kansas. In all, more than 84,000 Kansans won smaller prizes.

Kansas residents spent more than $5.4 million on tickets for last night's drawing, surpassing the $3.5 million set last March for the Mega Millions drawing.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday, currently estimated at $40 million.
