If you love space and the idea of a futuristic travel experience, but the cost of a Virgin Galactic flight falls outside of your budget, consider a trip to China instead.

The Pengheng Space Capsules Hotel in Shenzhen, China, is a space-themed hotel almost entirely staffed by robots, with blue-lit sleeping pods instead of rooms. But despite such slick accommodations, the rates are exceedingly affordable at just 70 yuan ($11) per person per night.

Opened three months ago in the Bao'an District, the quirky theme hotel even offers unique digitally-focused amenities, such as a lounge area with tablets for ordering food and banks of PCs for gaming or grazing the Internet.

A locker is provided to each guest for belongings and a there is a laundry room available to guests for washing clothes.

From the doorman to the front desk, reception at the Pengheng Space Capsules Hotel is manned by robots, who you will also find serving drinks and snacks. But a skeleton staff of humans is maintained to oversee operations, according to Nanfang Insider.
