Holiday shopping can get overwhelming.
Between making sure you get presents for everyone on your list, and trying to stay within that budget, the whole process can turn anyone into a grinch.
But smartphone apps can make it a bit less stressful.
We talked with a couple phone experts who pointed out some of their favorites.

Millions of people across the country head to the stores for Black Friday shopping.

"Well Black Friday is, you know the biggest retail day of the year, so it is going to be a zoo out there," said MobileComm Owner Hamid Bakhtiari.

But the day doesn't have to be stressful.
Apps can be your ticket to Black Friday survival.

"One thing that technology does do is bring information to consumers a lot faster than ever before," Bakhtiari said.

Hamid and Daniel, with MobileComm, shared some of their downloaded shopping apps.
One favorite is the barcode scanner.

"Why this is going to be good for people is it's going to allow you to look at reviews of what you're buying," said MobileComm District Manager Daniel Ramirez. "Now you know you're getting a deal on it, however you don't want to buy something that is poor quality."

Another app that will help you travel the aisles is TGI Black Friday.
The app sorts deals by popularity, so you can see what others think is the best bargain.

"For instance we see that you know you can go to Sears and get a 50" LED TV for $299, that's the number one deal right now," Bakhtiari said.

You don't want to get lost on your search for a sale, so to navigate between stores, your map app can be your guide.

"Like you don't know where the nearest Best Buy is, or you want to get to Sears quicker, if you just open up Googlemaps, you can search for anything you want," Ramirez said.

And if you are looking for products at a particular store, the Black Friday Fat Wallet app will give you your answer.
You can search by store, and everything is organized by categories.
Plus, it has all the store ads, without all the mess.

"You can actually go through the add, right here on your phone, you don't have to wait for that paper to arrive," Bakhtiari said.

Your phone is your own personal shopping partner, at the palm of your hand.

"Everybody's going to be on their device this year," Ramirez said.

With all the phone use, your battery life will probably run out quicker than normal, so to make sure you are equipped for the duration of your trip, one way to save your battery is by turning off the data network.
And to help you with this battery problem, MobileComm is offering a free car charger on Black Friday to any customer who mentions how much they love KAKE News.
