TAMPA, Fla. -- Police in one Florida community have released a 911 call in order to illustrate the importance of calling only when you have a real emergency.
On January 30, a woman in Tampa, Florida called 911 saying that she was served raw waffles at an area Village Inn restaurant, and the server refused to take the order off her bill.
Tampa Police uploaded the 911 call to their YouTube account reminding Floridians to only call in the event of a real emergency. Police say that 50% of calls received by their dispatch center are not emergencies.
