TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A local sandwich shop owner says he's taken action about the extra surprise some customers received with their sandwiches.

The customers claimed the sandwich was excessively wrapped and, when they peeled away the wrapping, they found an explicit word and drawing. A photo of it was posted on our WIBW page and several other Facebook pages.Click here to view the image. (photo may not be safe for work.)

The post on our Facebook page explained that a group of co-workers at a Topeka hospital ordered sandwiches Saturday night from the Jimmy Johns at 21st and Gage shortly before it closed. The poster said they asked if it were too late to order and was asked, "why would it be?"

When they got it the order included an extra sandwich, they said it was wrapped in several layers of saran wrap and Jimmy John packaging. On the final layer of paper, they found the hand written explicit message and drawing.

The local franchise owner posted replies, saying he was embarrassed and appalled and that he has resolved the issue.
