One man has been arrested after trying to steal a cake from a northeast Wichita business.
It happened at Dairy Queen, 3248 N. Rock Rd., around 4 a.m. Thursday.
Police said officers were called to an alarm at the business. They found a 25-year-old man inside, trying to steal two candles and an ice cream cake.
Lt. Doug Nolte, Wichita Police, said an owner was on the scene to recover the stolen property.
It is unknown how the suspect entered the building.
The man was arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County Detention Facility on aggravated burglary charges.
