Omaha, Neb. (WOWT) -- A woman was hospitalized after her car crashed into a sinkhole formed when the street suddenly buckled Sunday morning.
Police called to South 24th Street and Saint Mary's Avenue in Omaha just after 1:30 a.m. found the vehicle submerged in the westbound middle lane of Saint Mary's.
The driver, whose name has not been released, suffered injuries not thought to be life threatening.
The area is blocked off so repairs can be made.
