A bear wandering around a suburban Denver neighborhood has been tranquilized and will be taken back to the wild.
The bear was first spotted in a backyard in Federal Heights Monday morning. KCNC-TV reported that the bear climbed a fence and got into a neighbor's yard before trotting down a sidewalk.
Wildlife officials warn that drought concerns could mean more bears may head into towns and cities in Colorado during the warm months this year.
