He got the loot — but botched the getaway.
Authorities near Chicago say a man busted into a bank and grabbed $100,000 — only to get stuck in an air duct on his way out. Charles Estell was found early yesterday in an air duct in an office next to the bank.
Officials in Oak Lawn, Illinois say Estell robbed the bank Saturday afternoon after entering the vault from the ceiling. The workers say he also escaped through the ceiling, but didn't get far. After a search, the suspect was found in the duct.
Before authorities could cut him loose, they had to remove the wig of dreadlocks he had on. Estell faces a felony count of bank robbery; he could get up to 20 years if convicted.
