Washington (AP) -- A federal law enforcement official says intelligence from a Homeland Security Department investigation helped lead U.S. and Mexican authorities to Mexico's most wanted drug dealer.

The official says intelligence about Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman's whereabouts came from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The official has not been authorized to discuss details of the arrest by name and requested anonymity.

Guzman was arrested as a hotel in the seaside resort town of Mazatlan early Saturday.

A second senior federal law enforcement official says no shots were fired in the arrest.

That official also was not authorized to discuss details of the case by name and spoke on the condition of anonymity.
