Massachusetts Chemist In Drug Test Flap Arrested

A chemist accused of faking drug test results at a state police lab has been arrested outside her home.

A Boston court earlier Friday issued a warrant for Annie Dookhan, who is accused of faking drug results, forging signatures and mixing samples.

The lab was shut down in August, and thousands of drug prosecutions have been put in jeopardy. State police say she admitted to faking the results.

She is charged in Boston Municipal Court with witness intimidation and pretending to hold a degree.

She was led to a cruiser outside her home in Franklin, 40 miles southwest of Boston.
