A Boeing 787 United Airlines Flight from Denver to Japan was diverted to Seattle Tuesday afternoon following an issue with an oil filter.
The flight had left Denver shortly before 5:30 p.m. C.D.T. and was just off of the coast of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada when it was diverted to Sea-Tac Airport.
The plane landed safely at 6 p.m. the airline was providing customers with motel rooms and planned to fly them to Tokyo on Wednesday. Around 200 passengers were on board the flight.
