Two Upcoming Shows This Weekend to Feature KAKEland StormChasers

Members of the KAKEland StormChasers will be featured on two upcoming storm chasing series starting on Sunday, Oct.18Th.
The Discovery Channel will premiere season 3 of its popular series "Stormchasers", starting at 9PM. This series will feature KAKEland StormChaser and Valley Center resident Matt Hughes as he is called to provide vital real-time storm information, called "nowcasting"--to Sean Casey's TIV (Tornado Intercept Vehicle) team as they try to capture IMAX camera footage of tornadoes.
The Weather Channel will debut a series called "Tornado Road", with three episodes starting at 7PM. The show will feature meteorologist and former Wichitan Jon Davies as he and his fiancee, Shawna, chase some of the most destructive storms mother nature can produce.
The show will also show KAKEland StormChasers Mike Phelps, Katie Bay and Jim Reed. KAKEland meteorologist and chase team manager, Aaron Blaser, will also be in the show as he presides over the first ever broadcast of a storm chase wedding between Jon and Shawna . The show runs through Oct.30Th.
