The Garden City community welcomed home soldiers who spent more than a year over seas.

Team Rad and the American Legion hosted the celebration for local soldiers from the Kansas National Guard Sunday. They returned after a year long deployment to the Horn of Africa.

The community welcomed them home with banners, flags and family limo rides escorted by the American Legion riders and the Patriot Guard.
