A man and woman are in jail following a large pot bust Sunday night in Goddard.
Goddard Police Chief Sam Houston said in a release that a Chevy Tahoe was stopped around 10:15 p.m. for traffic violations in the 18000 block of West Kellogg.
After discovering the SUV had been stolen out of Albuquerque, New Mexico earlier that day, police found four bricks of marijuana in a duffel bag on the vehicle’s back seat. A search warrant was obtained, and 78 more bricks were found, each weighing just over two pounds. Street value is estimated at $115,000.
A 30-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were booked on drug-related charges, Houston said.
