Truck Crashes Into East Wichita QuikTrip

A pickup truck crashed into an east Wichita QuikTrip Tuesday afternoon. It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the store at Central and Oliver.

Authorities said customers were removed from the building after the crash. No one, including the driver of the truck, was injured.

The driver of the pickup told police his gas pedal got stuck, causing his vehicle to strike the building.

The structure is in tact, and only minor damage was reported, police said.
