A student has been arrested after a disturbance at a Wichita high school.
It happened at Southeast High School, 903 S. Edgemoor St., around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said a 16-year-old girl started yelling profanities in the hallway, causing a disruption. A school resource officer confronted the student, asking her to leave. Authorities said she pushed the SRO and ran away.
Officials said the girl punched and kicked the officer while she was being taken into custody.
