A man wanted in connection with the death of a toddler turned himself in.
Salina police had been searching for 25-year-old Troy Love, II. An arrest warrant was issued for him last week in the death of 18-month-old Bre'elle Jefferson.
Emergency crews were called to the girl's home in Salina earlier this month after the toddler stopped breathing. She later died at a Wichita hospital.
Police said the toddler's injuries were consistent with child abuse.
