An elderly woman missing since Monday has been found safe in east Wichita.

Police said 82-year-old Joy Nutter was found by an off duty officer around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at Inter-Faith Inn in the 300 block of East Central Avenue.

Nutter had been last seen around 6 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of North Rock Road. Police said she suffers from mild dementia.

Wichita Police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman who has been missing since Monday.

Eighty-two-year-old Joy L. Nutter was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of North Rock Road. Police said she suffers from mild dementia and may not know where she is.

Nutter is described as a white woman, 82-years-old, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. It's unclear what she was wearing when she went missing.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
