The start of a new month brings higher gas prices to Wichita area drivers.
The price of a gallon of gas climbed to $3.39 at many stations overnight.
The primary reason for the increase is wholesale oil prices have increased by 13 cents in the Midwest.
One month ago Wichita drivers were paying $3.00 a gallon.
