Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says the allegations against a dozen Secret Service employees implicated in a prostitution scandal are "inexcusable."
Napolitano told a Senate panel Wednesday that a "thorough and full investigation is under way" and reiterated the Obama administration's support for Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan.
Napolitano is facing questions from the Senate Judiciary Committee for the first time since the scandal erupted at a Cartagena, Colombia hotel in advance of President Barack Obama's arrival for a South American summit.
