A Dodge City man in is critical condition after losing control of his motorcycle in western Sedgwick County. The accident happened at around 12:40 p.m. on U.S. 54 and 311th Street West, which is just west of Garden Plain.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Quinton Miller was eastbound on 54, weaving in and out of traffic, when he lost control. He was thrown from the motorcycle, which came to rest in the median.
It was reported Miller was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to a Wichita hospital for treatment.
No other vehicles were involved, and no one else was injured.
