UPDATE: Man Recovering After Butler Co. ATV Accident

The Butler County Sheriff's Office says a man critically injured in an ATV accident Saturday afternoon is recovering at a Wichita hospital.

The 25 year-old man was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center after losing control and rolling an ATV on an oil field road near 77 Highway and NW 50th, north of El Dorado.

The sheriff's office says the man is now in stable condition and could be released from the hospital Monday. His name has not been released.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office says a 25 year-old man was critically injured following an ATV accident north of El Dorado.

It happened just before 4 p.m. on an oil lease road near Highway 77 and NW 50th Street. The sheriff's office says the man was piloting a side-by-side style ATV when he lost control and rolled the vehicle over.

The man was taken by Lifeteam helicopter to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition. His 3 year-old passenger was taken to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado where he was treated and released.

No names have been released.

Two people were injured, one of them critically after an ATV accident north of El Dorado.

It happened shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday near Highway 77 and NW 50th. Butler County 911 dispatch says one person suffered minor injuries, while a second was critically injured.

The critically injured man was transported by Lifeteam Helicopter to Wesley Medical Center for treatment. The Butler County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
