Antonio Brown and Eric Terry
Friday, February 15, 2013
A man has been arrested for obstruction in connection to the escape of convicted child murderer Antonio Brown.
Last night, officers arrested 28-year-old Eric Lee Terry of Salina. He's facing a felony charge of Obstructing Apprehension or Prosecution.
He's currently being held in the Saline County Jail. His arrest came the day after Brown was taken back into custody.
Last month, Brown pleaded no contest to first-degree murder in the 2011 beating death of 14-month-old Clayden Lee Urbanek.
Brown was being held in Mitchell County, but was brought back to the Saline County Jail Monday on the eve of his sentencing. He escaped shortly after he arrived when a door was mistakenly left open.
Brown called U.S. Marshals and turned himself in Wednesday night in Wichita. He was arrested in the 2800 block of South Broadway.
Specific details on how Terry allegedly obstructed Brown's arrest were not available.
