A Kansas woman has died after she was involved in a motorcycle accident in Saline County. It happened just before 3 p.m. Saturday on the interchange between Interstate 70 and Interstate 135 in Salina.

Kansas Highway Patrol investigators say a sport utility vehicle driven by a Colorado woman was exiting onto northbound I-135 from eastbound I-70 when a motorcycle rider exiting from I-135 onto eastbound I-70 struck the right front corner of the SUV.

The rider of the motorcycle was critically hurt in the accident. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died. Officials have identified her as Leah Webb, 58, of Herington. The driver and passenger of the SUV were not hurt.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Accident reports show Webb was not wearing a helmet.
