A Hutchinson woman who was flown to a Wichita hospital after crashing her SUV into a tree has died of her injuries.
Authorities say 45-year-old Deborah Anderson was pronounced dead around 9:30 Friday evening.
A few hours prior, a witness observed Anderson's Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on 2nd Avenue at a high rate of speed. The SUV became airborne after going over railroad tracks, landed and then struck a tree.
The crash remains under investigation.

A Hutchinson woman was critically injured in a crash early Friday evening on the city’s east side.
It happened around 5:45 p.m. near East 2nd Avenue and Waldron Street.
Authorities say a witness observed a Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on 2nd Avenue at a high rate of speed. The SUV became airborne after going over railroad tracks, landed and then struck a tree.
The driver, 45-year-old Deborah Anderson, was flown to a Wichita hospital with critical injuries. The witness told police that Anderson was not wearing a seatbelt.
No one else was in the vehicle. The crash is under investigation.
