A giraffe at the Sedgwick County Zoo has died.
The giraffe, known as Emmitt, was 15 years old.
He came to Sedgwick County Zoo in 1999 from Caldwell Zoo in Tyler, Texas. Emmitt has fathered nine offspring over the years and many of them have offspring at zoos across the country.
