A longtime Wichita staple is closing its doors after more than 70 years in business.
Fair's Shoes, located in the Indian Hills shopping center at 2407 W. 13th St. N., will close early this year.
The store is owned by a company that also owns local New Balance and Heads Shoe Stores.
"We continually watch sales performance at all of our locations and as a result of our most recent review, we came to the determination to close Fair's," said owner Cindy Warren.
No date has been set for the closure. The store originally opened in Wichita during the 1940s.
