One woman was killed and two others were critically hurt in an accident in Haskell County. It happened just before 8 p.m. Thursday on Highway 144 about five miles east of U.S. 83.
Kansas Highway Patrol officials say Crystal Dillon, 22, of Dodge City, was driving eastbound on Highway 144 when she veered left of center and then over corrected. The car went off the road into a field where it rolled multiple times.
Dillon died at the scene. Her two passengers were both hospitalized with critical injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
