A California man has died after a head-on crash in Pratt County.
It happened about 11 miles north of Pratt around 5:08 p.m. Monday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Michael King, 51, of Blythe, Calif., was driving north on K-61 in the southbound lanes. His pickup truck struck a tractor trailer, driven by Ricky Parks, 49, of Covington, Ga.
King died at the scene. Parks was not hurt.
Troopers said both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
