An Andover man was critically injured in a rollover crash Saturday morning in Butler County.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 8400 block of Southwest Indianola Road, just east of Andover.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Chevy SUV was driving northbound on Indianola Road when it steered over the edge of the road and lost control before going into a ditch, hitting two trees and rolling.

The driver of the SUV, 39-year-old John Sullivan, was taken to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. His condition was unchanged as of Sunday morning. Reports state he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No one else was in the vehicle. The crash is under investigation.
