A 5-year-old child died Monday afternoon after suffering a serious head injury when he fell off one of the inflatable bounces at Pure Entertainment, 8545 W. Irving, in Wichita.

The owner of the facility says the mother, grandparents and two adult family members were supervising the child when he fell and hit his head on the concrete.

Witnesses told the owner the parents were using the inflatable inappropriately when the child fell.

The child was immediately rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Pure Entertainment says the staff can't prevent people from being irresponsible and misusing the attraction.
