Butler County authorities are asking for the public's help to find a car belonging to a homicide victim. The body of German Luis Clerici of Wichita was found in a Butler County ditch Saturday.

Clerici drove a Maroon 1990 Toyota Celica 2 door with Kansas license plate: 199 CDD.

Sheriff Craig Murphy is asking that the public assist with the locating of the vehicle through vigilance of watching parking lots, abandoned vehicles or suspicious vehicles. Should someone feel that they may have found or seen this vehicle, it is requested that the nearest law enforcement agency be immediately notified.

Sheriff Murphy also reminds that if someone feels that they might have information concerning this case to please call Butler County Sheriff Investigators at: 316-322-4257 or the Tip Line at 316-322-8817, or 1-866-484-5924. Information can also be e-mailed to crimetips@bucoks.com.
