A judge has ordered a woman accused of trying to conceal the slaying of a Florida lottery winner held on $1 million bond.

Thirty-seven-year-old Dorice "DeeDee" Moore appeared for the first time in Hillsborough County court Wednesday on charges connecting her with the death of Abraham Shakespeare.

Moore befriended Shakespeare after he took a $17 million lump-sum payout from the Florida Lottery in 2006. He disappeared last April, and his body was found last week buried in Moore's backyard. No one else has been arrested.

Moore has denied hurting Shakespeare, but investigators say she tried to find someone she could pay to take the rap for the 43-year-old's killing and someone to move his body.

She was arrested Tuesday night.
