Officials from Overhead Door Company and Aero Fence announced a merger of the two Wichita companies.

“We are very excited to announce this merger,” said Mike Sweeney, President of Overhead Door Company. “Overhead Door and Aero Fence are two companies that compliment each other very nicely. With this merger, we will be able to continue to offer our customers product lines and value that are unmatched in this market. We definitely see this as an opportunity to better serve our regular customers, new home owners, and to add to our list of ‘do-it-yourself’ products.”

Prior to merging, the two companies had collaborated on many projects around Kansas over the course of the last 10 years, making the merger a “natural fit.”

“We’ve done a lot of projects together, including Kansas State University’s football stadium,” Sweeney said. “Having those many years of collaboration helped us see the value in this merger, and gave us a mutual foundation of trust.”

Aero Fence will continue to do business as a division of Overhead Door Company. Doug Claxton, owner and operator of Aero Fence for the last 12 years, will lead the fence division. Claxton has more than 20 years of experience in the fencing business.
