Wichita Police continue to investigate a double homicide in east Wichita.
Investigators have yet to arrest a suspect, after finding two bodies Thanksgiving Day.

The victims two children were in the home at the time of the alleged shooting, but were not injured.

For now, police are suspecting this might have been a home invasion robbery. KAKE'S Chris Frank spoke with one family member who discovered the crime, and has reason not to believe it was a robbery.

"And they were heartless. You killed my brother and my sister in front of both of my nephews and they had to walk around their dead parents all morning till I came over here," Amber Jackson said.

Jackson came to her brother and sister in law's home Thanksgiving afternoon to see why they hadn't shown up for the holiday dinner. What she discovered is too gruesome to fully describe.

"But I could hear my nephew so I kept beating on the door, 'Open the door!, and I looked through the window and I could see my brother's hand. And he wasn't moving," she said.

Jackson said the four year old boy finally opened the door.

"I started banging real hard and that's when he opened the door. He said, my daddy's in here killed."

Four-year-old Adrian Jackson Junior and his 16 month old brother Tyren were in the house Wednesday night and Thursday until the murders were discovered.

"He was very outgoing, very intelligent young man and would do anything for his family or his friends," Iris Jackson said.

He was Adrian Jackson who was an aspiring 27-year-old rap music writer and performer who grew up in Wichita. His common law wife was 24-year-old Jessie Foust. The Jackson's say she was from Junction City.

Iris Jackson said her grandson can't stop talking about what happened and might have seen and knows who did it.

"My grandson mentioned a couple of names. And these were close people, people who were over here quite often. People that I knew because one of them I considered a son."

Police questioned one man in the case, but no arrests have been made. The couple didn't have life insurance, so the family has set up a fund for funeral expenses.

Anyone interested in contributing to the fund can do so at any Bank of America location. You can make checks out to the "Adrian Jackson Memorial Fund."
