On Wednesday, the mysterious letter arrived at our studios. Inside were word games and lists of phrases.

Police are still investigating the suspicious letter sent to us at KAKE. Meanwhile, a panel of local experts who are masterminds at puzzles has a meeting of the minds, to see if they can offer a different perspective.

While police continue to investigate the suspicious letter sent to KAKE-TV earlier this week, others are still puzzled over whether or not it's from BTK.

Members of the Mesna High IQ Society put their heads together to see what they could come up with, with the word game sent in the letter. They are masterminds at puzzles.

Robert Beattie is one of the members and an expert on the BTK murders.

"In all of his earlier communications, he talked more specifically about the victims. He didn't identify any victims specifically in this," says Beattie.

But in the KAKE suspicious letter, the sender had one page with two identification cards. One was of a Southwestern Bell employee, who's still living in Wichita. So, how could the sender randomly have an ID card more than 20 years old lying around their house, and then decide to send it to us? Beattie says even though the game and letters are impressive and many experts we've talked to believe the letter is from BTK, he's still not convinced.

Police say they should know Monday whether or not the letter is from BTK.

We'll be at the news conference Monday morning at 9 a.m. and have a live report on KAKE.
