4-30-07 - The Kansas Highway Patrol worked two deadly accidents on Sunday. The first happened early Sunday at 6:20 in Haskell County. Jared W. Shaw, 25, was eastbound on county road 220 when he lost control and rolled the utility vehicle.

The Sublette man was ejected and died at the scene. 25-year-old Jessica Shaw was wearing a seatbelt and survived the accident.

In Harper County, an Anthony woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 2:24pm. Troopers say Brenda Kerr, 44, was southbound on K2 near Anthony when her 2000 Dodge Neon left the roadway, then over corrected and struck a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. Kerr was not restrained and died at the scene.

41-year-old Bradley Kerr was also unrestrained - he suffered serious injuries.

Ginger Osborne, of Goddard, and her two-year-old child Hayley were in the Tahoe. Both were wearing seat belts and were taken to St. Francis in Wichita.
