A celebration rivaling an old church revival pays tribute to educators Sunday at the Tabernacle Bible Church in Wichita.

The W.G. Williams Community Foundation, a non-profit church group, awarded nearly $20,000 in scholarships this year and organized a Thanksgiving recognition event to honor those who educate the community's youth.

Tabernacle Bible Church Sr. Pastor Lincoln Montgomery says the contribution made by educator's to the community is immeasurable.

Reverend Lincoln Montgomery, Reverend Keith Cullors, Reverend Herman Hicks, Reverend Junius B. Dotson, Reverend Jeffery Enlow, Reverend Tarrance C. Floyd, Reverend Mark L. Gilkey, Reverend Kevass Harding, Reverend Anthony Steele, Mother Vicki Taylor, and Jerome Williams are all members of the executive committee for the scholarship foundation.
