Thank you Sarah. I like the way you provided a clear and honest explanation. I also like your closing comment, but I disagree with what you said, re: "We are only given a certain number of days." Actually we have more or less, depending on how we live and what risks we take.

My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the families involved. Also, I say a prayer for the people who feel it's necessary to post negative comments for the family to read during this difficult time. May God give you some discretion.

Pretty sure Colton could have been revived if the officer who witnessed this accident occur would have given CPR. According to the autospy there were no broken bones, ect- so why wasn't help given when it was needed? As for Beau- You will be greatly missed- I only met you once at Browns Tire when Colton worked with you- but you were very nice and even had a sense of humor.

The family and friends of everyone involved are in my thoughts. People should not post their opinions if they are rude.

Who was in the wrong? Two young men were in the wrong for driving at a high rate of speed down a closed road whether it was 1 am or 1 pm and failed to stop at a red light. The truck driver was in the wrong for consuming any alcohol whether he was going to be driving the truck or not. The point here is that God puts each of us where we belong everyday. Think about 911. Some of those people were late to work for some mysterious reason some of them weren't. Apparently the same has happened here, it was beyond anyones control. Hopefully MANY people will learn from this valuable lesson. Those who think speed and living on the edge is the way to go you might think again. Those of you who drive semis you might think again as well. We are only given a certain number of days and we will never know when they are up. God Bless all the families and friends involved and may you find peace soon.

It makes me sick to see some of the negative comments about these young men and who is to blame, remember people WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND NO ONE IS PERFECT!!! The next time you or a loved one makes a mistake would you want it to cost a life?? Think about that before you post ignorant comments, no matter the situation, these young men died too soon, and for you all to make comments like you are so special, God forbid someone dies that is close to you and you have to read heartless comments as you mourn your loss, Show some respect!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves!! God Bless

Linda I am so sorry for the loss of your son...We use to work together at Hawker Beechcraft. Words can't describe what that might be like. I will be praying for you and your family

It has been a few years since I have seen the Blake family . My daughter went out with Beau many years ago and we both are so sorry for the loss. Our prayers will be with you all.

There are some really rude people posting here! There was a tragic accident where people lost their lives and there are many postings that are just placing blame when NO ONE here was at the scene to witness the actual accident! The boys lost their lives and instead of posting nice things for their friends and family to read, people are being so cold and insensitive. Come on guys, is this what you want people to talk about when you die?!? Honesty-RESPECT THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES AND THEIR FAMILY!

Things happen for a reason, weather we understand it or not. Thoughts and prayers are with both families. May God have a hedge of protection around you all. Time does heal things. God bless.

Colton Emerson, i know him. I used to play soccer with him in Peach Capital Soccer Club back when I was a child. It isn't that he nor the other people involved in this accident were bad people, it's just that they made a few bad choices and in doing so, they payed the consequences. We must all look upon this and not judge one because of what they did, but upon what lead up to what they did and how it happened. Colton, you will be deeply missed and live in infamy in our memories, hearts, and souls and I for one will miss the good old times we used to have playing soccer together. In heaven, i hope you will be waiting with that soccer ball and net for our next 1v1 game together. Take care old friend. AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY - Your Local Cavalry Scout at Bragg

To see all of the negative and hurtful comments from people on here is quite discouraging when there is more to this story than which has been published. The driver of that semi is a very Christian man, a very intelligent man, and just because he was booked in to the jail under suspicion of a DUI does not mean that he was formally charged with one...so for anyone to slander anyone in this whole ordeal is completely wrong. The news broadcast clearly stated that the booking was not related to the accident or lead to him to be at fault in any way. He and his family are suffering tremendously at the loss of the young men's lives. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends involved in this horrific accident, and maybe that's where every one else's focus should lie as well. We should mourn the loss of the two young men and empathize with the driver and his passengers and all of the families which have experienced a deep loss in this incident.
