Aircraft leaders from Wichita are in Orlando this week for the National Business Aviation Association convention.

Boeing is most commonly known for commercial aviation, rather than business aviation. This week, Boeing is marketing their business jet at the NBAA convention.

The aircraft is a “convertible,” meaning it can be changed into different configurations. It’s based on the 737-700 and 800 jetliners. After more than ten years of marketing, Boeing has sold nearly 150 of these planes.

This is the first time Boeing’s C model has been available for the public to see. The strength of the C model is its multi-mission capability and its ability to fly 1,500 miles further than a typical 737.

The plane can hold up to 32 passengers, but the seats can also be removed for cargo purposes.
