Flooding Problems

March 5 -- The rains have stopped, but the flooding problems haven't.

Much of the town of Sedgwick is flooded because the Little Arkansas River overflowed it's banks. For many Sedgwick residents they say it's nothing they haven't seen before.

Resident Brandon Gray says, "I've lived here for at least 20 years and i've seen it happen a half dozen times at least. It's nothing unusual to me."

Resident Tammy Wilson says, "I kind of felt the pattern coming yesterday when I saw the rain and the fields starting to flood."

The flooding closed the schools. Many Sedgwick kids spent the day fishing in the streets.

Most residents know the water will be gone in a day or two. And they know it could have been much worse.
