Two Kansas communities are coming together to give their fallen heroes a final farewell.
In Arkansas City, where 23 year old Sgt. Tyler Juden was born and raised, the community is flying their flags at half staff.
The young soldiers body will be flown back home to Strother Air Field (south of Ark City) late Monday morning. Juden will then be escorted to Rindt-Erdman.
There, the community is asking people to live the streets wearing red, white, and blue, lower flags to half staff, and tie yellow ribbons around the trees.
Juden's funeral will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the W S Scott Auditorium on the Cowley County Community College Campus.
Those in Parsons, Kansas are also coming together to prepare for their fallen heroes goodbye as well.
23 year old Specialist Daniel Cox will be laid to rest Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM. His service will be held at the Parsons Auditorium.
The Patriot Guard will be in attendance for both soldiers burials and for Tyler Juden's homecoming.
Patriot Guard riders estimate they will have hundreds of riders show up in support of the soldiers, the family, and the community. Soldiers will be coming from all across Kansas, as well as Missouri and Oklahoma.
