The Arkansas City community came together Tuesday to help an organization that aided in the search for murdered teenager Jodi Sanderholm last month. Tim Miller and his non-profit group EquuSearch helped find Jodi's car.

Organizers put together a fund-raising dinner for EquuSearch, to say thanks for all they did. Organizer Patti Butler and dozens of volunteers baked 2000 cookies, 60 loaves of garlic bread and prepared 100 pounds of spaghetti. Organizers pre-sold 600 tickets to the dinner at $5 a piece. Their goal is to raise $5,000.

EquuSearch is based in Texas, and helps law enforcement find missing people all over the country.

Brian and Cindy Sanderholm met with miller for the first Tuesday night. They told KAKE News on Monday that his help is priceless and they couldn't have made it without the community.
