A local woman is counting her blessings after learning she’s the grand prize winner in a clothing company’s sweepstakes.
As part of their 15th Anniversary Blowout, Roar Clothing held a prize-drawing as a thank you to the customers who played a key role in its successes.
Six months ago, Delany Roberts entered her name in the Roar Clothing sweepstakes. Last week she got a call telling her she was the grand prize winner. With a $100,000 check in hand, she knows the call was real.
Roar Clothing founder and owner Deepak Vasandani says that being able to give this gift and see the smile on Roberts’ face is a gift in itself. He also says giving back to the community is what his company is based upon and what has made it profitable over the past 15 years.
Roberts was given the choice of the $100,000 check or a 2006 Ferrari. She says she is going to be practical with the money and use most of it to fix up her home.
